Entropistes [2019 - 2020]




Entropistes are analog sound loops created with a kinetic installation made from scrap material.
The circular movement, caused by a step motor, gets translated into different smaller actions all the way around the sculpture.

The mechanical induced impacts on strings, resonating metals and glass are amplified through contact microphones. The live performance consists of triggering and adjusting the machine, making sure it keeps running.
